7th Annual Diocesan Polish Mass

in Honor of Our Lady of Czestochowa and Pope St. John Paul II

On Sunday, August 26th at 2:00 p.m., St. Thomas Aquinas Church will host our 7th Annual Polish Diocesan Mass in Honor of Our Lady of Czestochowa, Pope St. John Paul II, St. Maria Faustina Kowalska and Bl. Fr. Sopocko, the Spiritual Director of St. Faustina.

Polish priest, Rev. Matt Nycz, will be celebrant and Rev. Mr. James Witulski will assist as deacon. The Mass will be in the Polish language with the homily given in both English and Polish. This Mass will fulfill your Sunday obligation.

Confessions in Polish and English will be heard beginning at 1:00 p.m. A Polish Choir will provide beautiful songs!

After the Mass, the faithful will have the opportunity to venerate the 1st Class Relics of The three Apostles of Divine Mercy! … Pope St. John Paul II, St. Maria Faustina Kowalska…AND…. Blessed Fr. Sopocko. This is the first time that Bl. Fr. Sopocko’s relic will be present for our Mass!

After the Mass, there will be a reception with light refreshments. Your donation of these refreshments is appreciated and can be dropped off before the Mass at Aquinas Hall, located across the courtyard from the Church.
