Join Our ParishWelcome! Thank you for visiting the St. Thomas Aquinas Church’s Newcomers' page. St. Thomas Aquinas parish began serving the Catholic community of UNC Charlotte and the surrounding areas of northeast Mecklenburg and southern Cabarrus counties in 1978. Presently there are more than 2,300 families registered at St. Thomas Aquinas, and we are still growing! It is through the grace of God and the sacrifices of those who came before us that our parish is what it is today. The first step to becoming a registered member of our parish is to complete a parish registration form and submit it to the parish office. The registration form can be obtained from the parish office, in the Narthex in the church, or by clicking on the link below. We hope that, once you have registered, you will consider the many opportunities to get involved in the parish. We encourage you to seek out those ministries and/or organizations where you can serve God by giving of your time, talents and treasure to serve others. For more information, contact: Bonny Salmeri. Why Register?
Are you a registered parishioner? Often people attend Mass at a parish for months or sometimes years, but never officially register. Registering at St. Thomas Aquinas Church is the foremost expression of your commitment to being part of our parish community. Being a registered parishioner also makes the process much simpler when it’s time to receive sacraments, register for religious education, sponsor a sacrament recipient, or even to plan a funeral. A registered parishioner also receives all parish mailings. Church law no longer limits parish registration within particular boundaries. We at St. Thomas Aquinas Church welcome any individual or family who wants to be part of our parish family. Make your commitment to St. Thomas Aquinas Church today, REGISTER! |
